I nuovi Patrimoni mondiali dell’umanità UNESCO 2019

La 43° sessione del Comitato per il Patrimonio dell’Umanità, in svolgimento a Baku (Azerbaigian) dal 30 Giugno al 10 Luglio, ha iscritto 29 nuovi siti nella lista dei Patrimoni mondiali dell’UNESCO. Un ulteriore sito già presente sulla lista è stato invece esteso. Le nuove iscrizioni portano a 1121 il numero dei beni protetti in 167 stati. La Cina raggiunge l’Italia per il maggior numero di siti (55). Seguono Spagna (48), Germania (46) e Francia (45).
Quest’anno il Comitato è composto dai seguenti paesi: Angola, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bosnia ed Erzegovina, Brasile, Burkina Faso, Cina, Cuba, Guatemala, Ungheria, Indonesia, Kuwait, Kirghizistan, Norvegia, Saint Kitts e Nevis, Spagna, Tunisia, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe.
